Meet Mr. Yao
Mr. Yao is the owner of the Calivista and the boss of the Tangs. He is ruthless and mean, changing the terms on the Tangs and docking their salaries whenever something goes wrong with the motel. If Mr. Yao finds out the Tangs have been hiding immigrants in the rooms, they’ll be doomed!

- Does not allow Mia’s parents to leave the motel unattended; one of them must always stay behind
